Our Partner... To ensure we get quality and 100% all organic
products, our partners are NISARD (NICERT) accredited. The farm is certified ORGANIC by Nicert and has a land
area of five (5) hectares. It is the first Agritourism destination in the
Philippines accredited by Dept. of Tourism. The farming practices were
patterned with the Japanese Farming Systems and Korean Natural Farming wherein
micro organisms played a vital role not only in enriching the soil but also in
the production of vegetables, fruits, fish, poultry and livestock.
At the farm, we practice sustainable integrated natural farming. We have mixed ‘n matched various farm techniques to achieve better results. Firstly, we have adopted the teachings of Japanese farming technology from Dr. Terou Higa using Effective Micro Organisms (EM). We inoculate beneficial microbes into the soil, which combat harmful ones. It makes the soil porous and attract earthworms that eventually dig the soil for us. Hence, 'no-till' farming is attained. We combined the Japanese technology into the Korean Natural Farming system mentored by Dr Han Kyo Cho. We ferment our own organic fertilizers, foliar sprays and insect repellents ie. Fermented Plant Juice (FPJ), Fermented Fruit Juice (FFJ), Fish Amino Acid(FAA), Foliar Calcium, Calcium Phosphate, Oriental Herbal Nutrients (OHN). We also brew compost and harvest compost tea for foliar supplements. In integrated natural farming, we utilize the by-product of every farm produce (waste) for the feeding requirements of other farm products. Hence we achieve 100% all organic farming… “Throw your waste and it will be wasted. Recycle your waste and the world will be saved” as quoted by Mr. RC |
NISARD (NICERT)
NISARD Certification (NICERT) program offers a localized, yet competitive and independent third party organic guarantee system that aside from establishing equivalency to the national and international organic standards is tailored fit to the peculiar conditions of the Island. NICERT came into being in response to the growing needs of various organic producers in Negros seeking organic certification both for the local and international organic market and also to protect consumers against falsely claimed organic products. Although it operates locally, but NICERT organic certification program is globally competitive as it continuously developed and updated its crop specific standards in order to constantly align and meet the rigorous criteria set by various organic certifying bodies abroad.
